History

...As a veterinary doctor and a passionate for dogs, I have allways wanted a dog to share my active life and my curiosity. In 1988, I received my first hunting dog, a Labrador, a female called Linda. She had not a pedigree ,she wasn't out from a very specia genealogyl. But Linda had everything a hunting dog must have and for 6 years, although I wasn't officially a hunter, we participated to several huntings and we had a perfect friendship and understanding. Meanwhile, I became hunter and despite that I did not have my own dog, I had the chance to see hunting several races (setters, pointers, retrievers). My attention was attracted by the German Shorthaired Pointer, probably because of the way this race communicates, but also because of their hunting qualities, adapted to the conditions I hunt (fields and lakes).
This is how in 1988, I got my first female German Shorthaired Pointer, Lala, which, through its qualities and intelligence, made me chose this race for all my life. Lala appeared unexpectedly, when a friend of mine, also a hunter, told me about a puppy, a German Shorthaired Pointer female, kept in a yard of a gypsy family, tied to the chickens coop , but who had something special in its look, in its eyes ... This is how this special dog came into my life. By now, this dog, this real friend with something special in its eyes, taken from a gypsy yard, has more than 4000 hunted pieces, pointed and retrieved, without mentioning the trainings in extra season ... I don't think there are many dogs with such performances. But Lala's greatest performance is that it exists in my life.
Being a passionate for hunting and for the German Shorthaired Pointer, I entered into the canine competitions too, and in September 2001, I had the chance to meet Mr. Claus Kiefer, the former chairman of the German Shorthaired Pointer World Club and Ms.Karin Stramann, the owner of the most famous kennel of German Shorthaired Pointer – vom Hege-Haus. This was the moment when I entered into the world of hunting dogs competitions, having the opportunity of learning from the most adequate teachers, Claus Kiefer taking me as assistant referee. Unfortunately, it's been a short time , because in 2004, Claus Kiefer, Karin Stramann and her husband, Mr. Wilhelm Stramann, went to the evergreen places of hunting, but they will rest in our memory forever. In 2004 i become member in the Deutsch Kurzhaar Rheinland Klub ,in Germany and all the examinations(Derby,Solms,VGP,HN,HD,conformation exams) with dogs i had passed in this club.

I would also like to show my gratitude to the man that made me understand hunting with dogs, the man who helped my first steps on this long, difficult, but wonderful way, whose elegance in hunting meant everything – Mr.Gheorghe Badulescu.Special thanks to Mr.Klaus Bommers and to Ms.Renate Bommers for everything they have done for me in August 2006, before the Kleemann  Auslese Pruhfung and after it, for their moral support and for everything they teached me about dogs and training for competitions.. Klaus Bommers will always be my second teacher.
